Sculpture
Drawing much of her visual inspiration from nature, Karen Ristuben's 3-dimensional works are primarily constructed of glass, metals, found objects, and rust. The beauty and clarity of glass joined with rusted metal combine old and new, ethereal and solid, permanence and decay. Each sculpture is its own story, with its own integral history.
